Comment:
For the hell of it. The Venetian Snares track is for lo-fi, as he's intrigued by it, and the Godz are for SQ, as she's intrigued by them. I edited the ELP song (which is IMHO far and away their finest moment--i.e., the only one I can listen to at this point) to fade just prior to Keith Emerson's minute-plus keyboard solo, thus doubling the quality of the track. Mix title by James Murphy.Feedback:
Great stuff. Swooning over that Bee Gees -> My Bloody Valentine pairing.
Nice. The opening three and closing three are stellar. Nice Dylan & BeeGees tracks too.
Just great. Hope this is linked up pretty soon. fine 12-14 run. Dig 2,5 & 22 also..
I am intrigued by all of this - looks like yet another worthy entry into a great series of FTHOI mixes!
I'll raise Sam's 12-14 to 12-16 and a big manly pat on the back for just about everything else here.
wicked, love to see that Blurt track once again
Thanks, Rob! Man, that's a great Walker Bros. tune.
Some things are better in small doses, smart edits.
Hey, you're pretty good at this! Looking forward to hearing it, seems like my kinda noise!
P.S. Is that title for me???
Damn this is good. 3, 5, 10 and 21 are nice to see.
Looks really great; I love the 8-16 stretch especially!
Yes, lots of great picks. Saw a documentary on Wild Man Fischer recently which really adds something to your using him to bookend this mix.
this looks absolutely incredible, rob, - really looking forward to the download
A fine listen, Rob. Especially Tear Drop City, Revenge, One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later), and Fanny (Be Tender with My Love).
Even with Dylan in it doesn't 'Ruin It!'
good stuff here, especially the Fendermen. geez - no love for ELP.....
Eclectic forthehellofit greatness, once again. Link me up, legal man.
Filthy ? OK by me !I'm not a ELP fan either . . . . . and you've been braver than me here . . . . Pissed Jeans ? ! ? ! Beefheart, Black Flag and Dylan make it for me . . . .
Heavy shit man! Great!
Fantastic, and that Walker Brothers tune is the greatest thing on earth.
