Comment:

Always found my single-disc version to be inadequate, so finally got around to expanding this, adding more tracks from throughout her career, plus selections from last year's (overrated) release. I also added a few from her second album, which, coming a decade before her "real" career began, is more of a straightforward country album than the blend of country, folk, blues, and rock that she's come to champion since then. (Still omitted is her first album, a collection of blues/country covers.) Alas, even with 2 discs, no room for any live songs, even though that's where she really shines (and how I first got into her music); strictly studio here.

And, since the image display is still non-functioning as I post this, here's the cover:

i bemoan the absence of "like a rose," but other than that - as doowad said - it's hard to go wrong with lucinda...

This looks like a fine collection, although I'd pretty much skip the World Without Tears album completely... and would include "Greenville," as it's my favorite Lucinda track... and "Like a Rose"... You did at least include my second favorite track of hers, "Metal Firecracker."
