Comment:
This is a mix of some of my favorite Rufus Wainwright songs. It killed me not to include "Old Whore's Diet" with Antony. I think it's the best song off of Want Two but it's about 9 minutes long and I would have had to cut two other songs. Thought about putting it on the end of the mix instead of the Harvester of Hearts but it had to be in its full form. Also, Since I love everything he does, I think I stuck to more upbeat, happier songs.*Encore: I had more room and that song fit perfectly plus I wanted it on the mix anyways.

Foolish Love and Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk are two songs I never get tired of.
I immediately had to look for my 4 favorites, and they're all here! "Oh What a World", "One Man Guy", "Movies of Myself", and "Cigarettes...", so you're good. I realize it may be considered more just an easy single compared to his more complex work, but no room for "Instant Pleasure"? And nothing of his covers? He does the most beautiful rendition of "Across the Universe", "Over the Rainbow" and as everyone knows "Hallelujah". Anyway this is a fantastic tribute to a transcendent musician.

Thanks for the response! I meant to title this "The Best of Rufus Wainwright's studio albums" and also change "best" to "my favorite" but best is more fun. I just listened to Instant Pleasure on youtube for the first time in about 8 years. I used to have this on my computer way back. What a great song. I love it and also "Hallelujah".
