Comment:

Yeh folks 2 proud dads that is to say myself and the master mixer known round these parts as SammyG, present a mix on behalf of our daughters' Ava & Ellie. Thanks to Alex for coming up with the idea in the first place (well he suggested Ava & Ellie could be mix makin' partners of the future but me and Sam thought why wait, we can commence embarassing em immediately!) Can you guess who took odds and who was on evens? a difficult shout I'd say. Thanks for coming out to play Sam I had a ball.

The only tracks I know are by the Orange Humble Band and the Millennium (although I'm vaguely familiar with Apollo Sunshine, Summer Hymns, Fruit Bats and Mates of State), so I have zero idea who did the odds and who did the evens. What I do reckon, however, is that this is a fine mix, based upon the past work of both of you...

Poor Mrs Sammy and Mrs F.C. I can see they are not getting any help with the babies. On the other hand we are getting a killer mix so I best shut up.

The most difficult to guess alt mix i've ever seen, but based on some very sketchy logic I'm going for Ellie's pop on odds and Ava's on evens. Bravo to Alex for sewing the seeds that spawned this scorcher too.

Yes, Cliff, we most certainly had a bawl. I think this turned out rather brilliant, if I do say so myself. Here's a link for you guys..

i don't think i've ever seen a better mix made by two dads. amazing how much them boys the annuals are getting around (i'm friends with the guitarist, kenny). that mr. wright song has me very interested, by the way, as it mentions my wife by name. keep on rockin', guys.

I don't know anything here 'cept for the Millenium and it's awesome, so I trust the judgement of you two.

I know one less than the skip, but I guess everyone else must know what they are talking about, eh? The download has maxed out, which is a good sign.

Oooooooo Baby! Where did you busy parents find the time for this? Super collaboration, folks (and I do mean folks). It's a pretty wild guess, but I'm thinkin' Ava's dadda took the evens and Ellie's pop took the odds (BTW, where's the late 60s psych band Ellie Pop?). So which baby (with a bad case of jaundice) is one the cover? Looking forward to seeing an Ellie vs. Ava mix in 2025. It's gonna be great!

ah, thanks for the link; everybody wins! this is a real solid set--with four, six, nine, ten and seventeen as my personal favorites. it's good to see DL-able alt-DJ mixes w/ mixers who don't usually have links. I think this is the first music I've heard from the French Connection collection.

BTW Barry, Valis & Moe were spot on I'm on odds and Sammy took evens. You're right Tornadoz unless you trade snail mail there is no way to hear my stuff cos I have no idea how to provide a download link, I can barely submit a mix let alone get all freakin' technical!!!
