Comment:
Her tender lips were hotter than chiles!Posdata: The Sir Douglas and Freddy Fender pistas are dedicated to my soul compadre.
Props to Funky for the Waylon tune.
Feedback:
I'd scarcely know where to begin - tons of fantastic tracks, as usual! Good to see Todd Snider show up on a mix too.
Special props for "Katie's Been Gone" one of my all-time faves.
Kudos for the new Ry Cooder, all of the Townes Van Zandt, anything Dylan and so much more. (The Waits tune is sublime.)
You know they say 'The Devil Has All The Best Tunes'? Well you're going straight to hell my friend!
This is a blast!
I LOVE Ry's Jim Reeves cover... hell, I just really love that song, in general... and plenty else on here. I see you are definitely in twang mode these days. ;-) Props for including anything related to the supremely underrated Doug Sahm, as well.
Too many favorites to name. A brilliant mix!
i love it when your friends get together and jam. special kudos for powderfinger and 1000 miles.
Excelente, mi bien ponderado gringo cuello rojo. No me cargaba esta chingadera, pero ya lo pongo a descargar. Me estAís saturando el disco duro con tus mix-tapes, boludos. A+La dedicatoria es para mA- o para Bobby?
i echo rob's sentiments about the twang mode - & i'm REALLY digging it - love the elvis, waits, nirvana (both), dylan/band, springsteen, johnny cash (all four), neil young, gillian welch & george jones tracks the mostest
I recently read a story in the paper about a human cannonball woman that broke her arm...weird. this is pretty great, by the way, what I know of it.
Magic. Final 4 on 1 and opening 8 on 2 do it for me. I've got a soft spot for that Bob Luman track too.
Lots of so so many great picks.
This looks like it required a great deal of thought and devotion. It triumphs on technical achievement alone. But the music, what I know of it, is more than just great, it's great together
A feast!
great stuff
