Comment:
For the hell of it. Title by Death Angel, believe it or not.Feedback:
Looks really nice. Great 12/13 juxtaposition, and Space Truckin' is an all-time favorite.
Well, that's the Crux of the Biscuit, now, isn't it. Love the 11-12-13-14 run, the Pixies, Jad & Daniel, Deep Purple tracks and, of course, the Francisco Zappa.
Zappa, Johnny Thunders, Thin Lizzy, this can't be beat...
Accordion, Fa Ce-La, Complication, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Chinese Rocks, Submission, Heaven and Hell, Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow) and Space Truckin' all hang out in my hood.
Man, I was just listening to madvillainy today, spooky. I very much hope I'll be listening to this mix tomorrow. Pixies, Zappa, Feelies, Monks, too much great stuff to mention...
This looks tremendous!
Seeing 13 nestled where it is puts a smile on my face Rob! I only know 50% of this but that's enough to make it a pretty neat mix and if the other half is as good nuff said.
A bedazzling left-fielder. Quite a few songs I haven't thought about in too long, and some I never even knew about (gotta check out this Life on Earth business..). Groovie Ghoulies do a delighful cover of that Monkees song, btw
Wow, I see what you mean by "a little noisy"! What's with all the Zappa lately? I mean, I'm thrilled and all, but... Nice to see the Feelies & Jad Fair. Is that the same "I'm So Young" tune that the Beach Boys covered?
good n rockin.
this looks like alot of fun rob, alot of really cool stuff here - the madvillain, feelies, floyd, gladys knight, pixies, heartbreakers & sex pistols are really doing it for me
Great Feelies, Gladys, and Jad & Dan picks and I haven't thought of Plush in too long, I must rectify that asap.
venetian snares & pixies are an interesting back-to-back. good stuff. i think i would like this.
Lots of stuff here I don't know but together with what I do know looks like a mind shaking listen.
Wow, man, great mix. Gave it a listen this morning. Love track 2 (have you heard the Four Tet remix of it?), 14 and 16.
One day I'll buy a Feelies record.Meanwhile I'll have to own up to being ignorant on the opening three.Lots of loud here and then Gladys Knight.Top notch.
All over the map, but all nice stops nonetheless!
Loads of great stuff, and then my favourite Pixies track... a winner!
nice
