I think "24 Hours" was my favorite song of 2006, such perfect rock 'n' roll. Your excuse for a mix is as good as any I've heard - sometimes you get to adding so much to your iPod or are inundated with interesting music but have a tough time sorting it out, so what better way to make them start sinking in than by mix+matching them for a comp? Unless you're coming from a totally different direction, in which case pardon me. I've heard good things about The Conquistadors, and Coconut Records intrigued me even though that "Spider-Man 3" song wasn't much, so you should post an updated mix on how this turns out (however that's possible).
