Comment:

It is my hope that this list illustrates what I wish radio was like in the UK and USA - a varied, truly mixed bag of music. I would have included The Goons, Flanders & Swann, Peter Cook & Dudley Moore and Serge Gainsbourg and many others but there's no more space. But the one thing about this list is: I love all of this music. Hope you enjoy and make some interesting comments. Let's groove!

Looks fun, though I would have to hit mute when Yoko came on. Other than that, it is spot on...

I need to ask about the song count -- how or why 60 songs? Part of the challenge of creating a good mix is that limitation imposed by the media: selecting just the right 80 musical minutes (or so) to fill a CD. Or 60 minutes if it happens to be a one-hour cassette. But to post a conglomeration of 60 songs just seems excessive and kind of misses the point, in my book.

I see what Steve's saying, but this being your first post, I see it as an introduction to what you're all about, which is some pretty great music. Also, in this modern era, there are no more media limitations. And radio stations are usually on the air longer than 80 minutes.

Is this a two hour cassette? I haven't seen one of those in years. You're all over the shop here but I like it. Also I think it's good you picked some of the less obvious songs from big names, e.g. the Abba, Kinks, Rolling Stones, Beatles,Who and Pink Floyd tracks. These are all big name artists, how about some obscure names?
Not a quibble,just a query.
