Comment:

one morning, she woke up and felt the giddy remnants of the rum from the previous night coursing through her veins. her blood was so thin she felt nearly transparent. two hours ago, she had gone to sleep peacefully, drunk from the booze and from the presence of someone utterly overwhelming. now, grey morning light pried open her heavy eyelids and conjured a headache so powerful it was as if little men with pick-axes were poking at her cerebral cortex.
ten minutes late to work.
the beginning of a horrible, horrible day.

so many good songs here - love the smiths, shins, pj harvey, bright eyes, radiohead, elliott smith, wilco, whiskeytown & neko case - hope this brightened your day a bit, i know it would mine

I must confess that the only song on this disc that I've ever heard was "Panic" by The Smiths. (And I've actually got that song on my third mix disc!) I have heard a song called "Australia," but it's by the Manic Street Preachers...
