For the hell of it. Title by James Mercer, as many of my titles are.Feedback:
Pretty great stuff, Mr. Conroy. Good to see you're still at the top of your game with the ol' mixed genre efforts. I was just realizing I haven't given that new OM disc a proper listen last night. (be on the lookout for my reappearance in mixing land soon, hopefully).
Pretty cool mix, Rob. That Madlib track is damn good...
Liking Sunday Girl, I'm So Glad, Red Rabbits and Mother and Child Reunion tracks.
i love when i can tell what song will be used because of the title - another great one, rob, loving the shins, michael jackson, joy division, queen, sabbath, & prince tracks especially.
10-13 is interesting, also love the Bonzo Dog Band.
Interesting 11-12-13 run. No wait, it's kinda awesome now I've looked again!
Nice.
This is nice. Brings back some memories...
Good god Gong.Next you'll be putting Egg in your mixes.
Love the 12-15 run.
Love the 12-15 run.
Brilliant as usual, especially the closing 4.
excellent variety mix, Rob. loved the Prince/Damned duo, the Cream to Michael Jackson bit, the Michael Nesmith & the First National Band pick... but again, the Scott Walker track takes my cake - and bakes it too. incredible. I've got to get my hands on some of his older work - thanks for getting me hooked.
You stole my song again, you shit! Great mix.
great
The Breakup Society! Now there's an unheralded band. They do damn fine power pop. To say nothing of the grand Shins track, vintage Queen, Michael Jackson at his peak, and some kickass early punk/glam bits. Nice motley crew of awesome tunes!
:)
Madlib -> Congos
All great, but the 15-18 hits me bestest. Tk 4 is an all time favourite as well.
The Dickies did kind of nail that song !
Lots of great picks here Rob.
