somewhat resembles an autumn mix i'm working on - i guess the differences between fall music & winter music are negligible. love so many songs here - the second sinatra pick, the patsy cline (one of my all-time favorites), the nico, zombies, miles davis, nick drake...

"Moon River" is the ultimate winter song. Have you checked out Patty Griffin's version? I prefer it. Altogether a really good mix!

This is really gorgeous. Love the opening quartet, Frank, Miles, Vince, Patsy, Scott and Dizzy. I'm in Iowa so winter is only nine months long.

glad Dead Heaven pointed me toward your lovely photo of winter. but this is autumn music to my ears and I loved it. not usually a Fiona Apple fan, but "Slow Like Honey" was gorgeous. that Nina Simone pick is a favorite of course, loved the Audrey Hepburn closer, the great transition from Miles Davis to Cat Power (a great song too), Francoise hardy... but I'm going nuts about Scott Walker, who I also heard on Rob Conroy's mix earlier today. have his new one, but not familiar with his older records. "Winter Night" is sublime.
