Comment:
Well, it's been four years since i've uploaded a mix. My how i've changed.I was raised Episcopalian (just like Sufjan!), but now consider myself agnostic. A lot of these songs deal with belief, and the struggle many of us have in justifying faith with rationality. I gave it to the new pastor at the church i was raised in, since he's a (relatively) young priest, at 38. He loved it, and it was the beginning of a really enlightening conversation about religion, specifically modern protestant Christianity in America. For better or worse, belief intoxicates many people and makes them do highly irrational things.
Oh, and i know Golden Boy was supposedly a "joke" song, but i find it beautiful. Maybe i just read to much into the lyrics....

Feedback:
Casimir Pulaski Day is one of my favourite ever songs.
cool mix, welcome back - from a former Mormon.
