Comment:
So here's the story. I started dating the new girl at work over the summer, we broke up and stayed friends. While we were dating, she was constantly asking me to make her a mixtape. But because I was so unsure about the whole relationship, I didn't want to make her a tape and give her the wrong impression. So now that everything is cool, I figured it was tape time. Really, I could have put almost anything on here. She grew up in a very religious household with parents who disapproved of most popular music, so nearly everything in my collection is new to her. I've been loaning her CDs for the past few months, and I've actually got her liking everything from The Kinks to The Velvet Underground to DJ Shadow. Hopefully, this tape expands her horizons even more.Feedback:
looks great!
This is really great. I need to pay more attention to your mixes, becasue I like-to-love almost everything here. Extra props for using Soul II Soul--not even one of their great singles, but a great album track.
Hey, I have to sit through Chicago winter too, but I guess it's harder to just run off a copy for strangers with tapes, eh? What I mean is, looks warming and wonderful.
