Comment:
split into two roughly 60 minute cds: 1-14 CD1 15-28 CD2each CD opens and closes with a short PSA from a B-list celebrity.
its a shame that i was too young in the heyday of 120 minutes (considered to be until about 1995). i recall seeing some episodes in the late nineties and early 2000s, but being unimpressed.
Feedback:
oooh, these look so fun. I was born in '80, so I watched it somewhat although high school was too busy for much TV. I remember being all kinds of super-psyched when Jeff Buckley hosted. this makes me wanna youtube old episodes. thanks for the reminder.
Some of this is splendid: Jam, Sonic Youth, Morrissey, Waitresses, Belly tracks. Bush are really not to my taste and the Bunnymen track is not one of their strongest. But a good mix will make you confront your prejudices, and this is good.
