22 cool things to do with an Acoustic Guitar. In two acts.Feedback:
Glorious, and a kind of mix you don't see the likes of around here very often. I'd love to hear it.
don't know much on here, mark, but i'd sure like to
This looks incredible.
From the Reverend Gary Davis all the way through, this is chock full of gems, not a bum note in the bunch. I'd love to hear the Django in particular.
Nifty!
Lots of favorites hear but I especially love the closer.
Mark, this is fantastic, my friend. I especially love the closer.
great stuff . . . 3, 8, 12 and 19 to 22 especially pluck my strings, but there really is loads to love here.
Kudos! A simple concept, great selections and explained succinctly in your mix comments (some get rather wordy, ya know).
looking beautiful
Track 4 is an all time favorite tune (originally written for piano by Soctt Joplin") which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also really liked tracks 8, 12 & 16. A very pleasant mix overall (thanks for sharing it).
Great stuff, Mark. Listening to some of this right now. Congratulations on MotW.
Very nicely done. Love those Keottke Fahey Track as well. Love the inclusion of Django Reinhardt and Earl Klugh tracks. I tend to forget how amazing their work is.
This "could have been very beautiful" & it is!
I believe you've picked most all of my favorite guitarists (maybe Kottke & Fahey vieing for the gold), using tracks I'm mostly not familiar with, so I know this will be a true treat. Many thanks!

congrats on MOTW, mark!!
dazzling and masterful!!!
Wonderful, many congrats. Love the Kottke, Atkins, Cooder & Fahey. Great stuff...
Beautiful.
I'm a fan of instrumental mixes, and this one is right up my alley. A nice variety of acoustic sounds and styles. Sharon Isbin plays so beautifully, I must find out more about her.
I've been collecting files for my own acoustic guitar mix for the last few months, and if I find the time for it I'll post it soon.

wow, this looks terrific. I'm writing from the lobby of a Canadian hotel, but looking forward to my return home tomorrow so I can give this one a listen. thanks for the link(s), and congrats on mix of the week!
Great mix! But seriously, can any of the above play Greensleeves on a six string as well as I can? Me thinks not! ;) Congrats on MOTW! You rock.
Amazing flow, well deserved MOTW. Congrats.
Pluckin' beautiful. Congrats on the accolade.
back at the office today, played this while facing the frantic chaos of trying to get caught up before tomorrow's holiday. it was the perfect soundtrack to help me keep my wits; lovely and calm. especially liked the Leo Kottke track and Andres Segovia's take on the prelude by Chopin.
Listened to this in the office today, some wonderful material. Well done, thanks for sharing.
this has been on repeat all day. listened to it during thanksgiving dinner. thank you!
That's a well-deserved MotW if I've ever seen one! Congratulations to you, and thanks to Rob for picking this (it would have slipped under my radar otherwise), and thanks to you for sharing it! Can't wait to listen, love everything I know here, but have lots to discover still.
Stunning trip you've assembled here, Mark. The Micah Blue Smaldone and Marc Ribot picks are especially appreciated. Congrats (and thanks to Rob) on a most deserved MotW.
Utter perfection. Congratulations on Mix of the Week!
Oooh! This is just what I was looking for! Great!
I can get behind pretty much any style of music but acoustic guitars plunk my strings.
