As a tribute to the release of Todd Haynes bio-pic I'm Not There, I'm sharing this mix of my favorite Dylan covers. These aren't the best, like I said my personal favorites, there are many--What are your favorite Dylan covers?btw, the songs that I am sharing are mp3, the rest in my mix are wma, if y're interested I can also share the wma files with you.

i've been searching high & low for that johnny marr take on "don't think twice, it's all right" for over a year now, with no luck. if there's any way you can upload it for me, i'll surely repay in kind.
as for the mix, it's truly sublime - lots of my favorite covers, including the jeff buckley (the first one), the white stripes & the nico. jeff buckley's take on "mama you been on my mind" is worth tracking down as well, if you haven't already heard it.

i've got one in progress that includes: the kruger brothers- don't think twice, sophie b hawkins- i want you, emmy lou harris- every grain of sand, and jason and the scorchers- absolutely sweet marie. looks like some excellent choices.
looks really nice. wholesome, even. a heaping serving of dylan covers, that is. if it entices you, here's probably my favorite Dylan cover mix that i've done, though in my book it's surely hard to find a Dylan cover that beats the original -- maybe Eddie Vedder's "Masters of War" from that 30th Anniversary double disc.
