I realize that this mix is all over the place; musically, pace-wise, and genre-wise, the whole thing's a mess. The idea was to put a little more diversity in but it went wrong, and for some strange reason it makes me all the more proud of it.Feedback:
Punk for me ended in 1978 and most of what followed is a tawdry facsimile but I guess you had to be there, and maybe you were. As I have one foot in the grave and two toes of my other foot peeking out I'm probably not qualified to judge this, and I doubt that's the same Denizens that hailed from Birmingham, England, so let me just say that I Set My Friends On Fire is a great name for a band.
The Denizens were a grunge-ish band from California that recently broke up. Under normal circumstances, I Set My Friends On Fire are a terrible screamo band, but such a band covering "Crank Dat" is just priceless. It had to be included.
