Comment:

My Older Sister has two sons. One is single and one is married with 3 children. The later son is named Mike, who is in his mid '30s, is in the Air Force, and was recently sent to Iraq for a second time. This is part of my Christmas gift to him. His wife loves country music so he hears a lot of that (doesn't mind it), but what he really likes is Classic Rock. So this mix has Classic rock plus some Country and/or Southern Style Classic Rock combined. The first time he was sent there he wasn't too concerned, since being in the Air Force he would see nothing like the action that those in the Army or Marines would see. He was also located north of Bagdad. This time I think he is a bit closer to the action since he said one of the things he needs is air fresheners since pretty much everything around him stinks (doesn't sound like a good sign). Pretty much all the songs here were used on previous mixes of mine, with the exception of track 21. Favorites of mine that I'm hoping will be favorites of his are songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, John Fogerty (tracks 1 & 16), and The Guess Who and BTO (pretty much the same group), for which I used two songs by each artist on the mix. As usual, you can access the mix by clicking the link on the first song title.

I second Doowad. This is a great mix, one I think he will enjoy. Personal faves are 8,9,14, 16 & 20. Just recently heard a Spiral Staircase tk on a Moe mix, I must get hold of some more of their stuff...

Lots of great songs here. I'm sure your nephew will love it. I, to, hope for a safe return for everyone over there.not to make light of the situation, but your comments have me picturing a fighter cockpit witha pine tree air freshener in it. That would make a great cover.

Disney Girls, gorgeous and should calm the nerves a little too. All the best to your nephew.

Wow, Spiral Staircase and the Cornelious Brothers are some serious blasts from the past. A great gesture and a great mix. All the best for a safe return.
