Comment:
This mix of covers is 21 tracks long. One of the I 'hilariously' made up. Any guesses?Feedback:
i would guess that roots manuva never covered the beatles, but then again there are several other tracks of which i can hardly believe they really exist (like # 8, 14, 16)... anyway, # 13 seems the most absurd to me ;-)
if it's as you say and there's just one here that sprung from your imagination [My Bloody Valentine covering the James Bond theme? Nena doing The Cure?] then I'd absolutely love to hear it. hoping I'm wrong with both my guesses, since this will indeed seem a better world if both of those, in fact, do exist.
it IS a better world! but poor Lulu. the My Bloody Valentine was... well, music to my ears. really dug the Squarepusher version of that classic, as well as B & S's "Dancing Queen" (sung in a beer hall?) and I'm the only one in the office that wasn't mad when The Magic Numbers tune got underway. Nena, Richard Hawley, Blur, Of Montreal, Thompson Twins... all really great. merci.
