Where there is darkness, there is also light.Feedback:
I don't know most of these tunes, but I'm sure I'd love it. Jens Lekman, The Flaming Lips, Brian Wilson, Sufjan Stevens and the bit from LOTR all wrapped up together? It has to be brilliant. And being me, I love the title too...
Great seasonal mix, especially the last bit on side two.
Great Waits, Blind Willie, and Band of Horses, not to mention the Howard Shore score bit. Looks really cool.
I like!
this looks unvariably excellent...wowza
Love the intros on both sides. Very clever and well done!
This looks fantastic Jake. I wish there was a download for this. Well, if you've got a C90 and a stamp handy.....
Like this especially side 1.
I'm with frenchy, the closing trio on side 1 are blissful.
Jesus Christ, this is fantastic. Please, please, please get a burner. Please. I'd pretty much love to listen to your entire oeuvre.
Jake, bro, this is off-the-hook... both sides. I love how you squished Anne Briggs between the Boredoms and I especially love that GYBE! and Portishead pairing.
Wow!!!! Aytler to Lekman into one of my favorite Flaming Lips tunes and on and on an on it goes. And you lead off side two with Iron Maiden's SSoSS...this is what this place is all about. Amazing work.
Portishead and Tom Waits are the ones for me here. Niiiiice!
