Comment:

Okay, first of all...under no circumstances do I condone Finger Eleven.

That being said...

My friend Joey asked me to make a mix for our friend Danny for Christmas, to be from him. He said to put on "'Misirlou' and 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' and 'Paralyzer' and sound clips and stuff," so that's what I did. I wouldn't have included any of those three songs if he didn't request them.

So since this is supposedly from Joey, I'm pretending to have his taste in music. It was harder than I expected, so I went with a lot of well-known artists. The last two tracks stick out like sore thumbs, but Joey doesn't really take flow into consideration when he makes CDs, so I'll use that as my excuse ^_^.

Track one contains a sound clip from Pulp Fiction, the restaurant robbery scene right before "Misirlou" starts playing. Track six's clip is from Young Frankenstein, where Dr. Frankenstein asks whose brain he put in and finds out it's Abby Normal. On track ten, Bill Clinton states, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman...Miss Lewinsky." Track fourteen contains the warning that plays before Girls Gone Wild commercials.

Aaaand...the version of "Downfall" on this mix comes from Children of Bodom's album Tokyo Warhearts.

Well, I hope he enjoys it. It's not my best work by far, but I think it'll get its fair share of listens.
