Comment:
Another reformatting. I'd have to say that Disc #1 was an okay mix overall, not a great one. But I like the idea of o-pening up with three storming metal/hard rock numbers and then, for a change of pace, following that up with an eerily emotional ballad from King Crimson! The presence of She's The One by The Ramones is more for the purpose of filling up a gap due to a running time of less than 78 minutes - but I still really like the song anyway. (One thing's for sure, if you need to fill a two-plus-minute gap on your mix disc, you can almost always count on early Ramones!)
I'm also a huge fan of Clapton's cover of Hen-drix's Little Wing - it's just got this very regal and majestic quality to it, and I think it's simply gorgeous. Of course, the Hen-drix original is a great song, but I prefer Clapton's cover.
Regarding Disc #2, I must say that I believe it holds together rather well considering that I kind of made it up as I went along, without much of a plan for how it was going to en-d! :-)
