Comment:
Out of practice here at AotM. Hope everyone is having fab-o holidays. Moved from Pittsburgh to Baltimore a few months back. Music is still in boxes, had a big computer crash and lost a couple years' worth of mixes... blah blah blah. Ah well. Here's some shoulda-been garage "classics" - most of obscure, some are recent, all are hella-cool. New Year's resolutions: make more mixes, buy new house, form more bands, keep up with AotM, listen to more Spike Jones. OK?Feedback:
Lots to love here, don't see Jerry Lewis' kid much here, love the Strangeloves, Sam the Sham, Outsiders, etc.
Lotso Great Stuff here. Sorry I missed you over the holidays. Got a nice Spike Jones Box Set if you need assistance on that resolution.
What I know, I love!
Lots in this for me!
this looks like something i really need to get my hands (& ears) on
Looks great, Sean. One of these days we will actually meet up.
Rocking!
Sounds like a plan to me (your resolutions, I mean). I know a few of these artists and generally like them a lot (although what little I've heard by Gary Lewis never did much for me), but don't know those particular tracks, and would also love to hear the rest.
I'm with Rob...a lot of the artists are familiar but not necessarily these tracks. I'll bet this is great indeed!
I imagine I'd be aurally impaired if I didn't like 99% of this though I only know about 17% of it.
Well a lot I haven't heard here but is there any area where I trust your taste it's here
Hey, Sean Lally! Nice to see you're still cranking out high octane mixes...I'm not familiar with any of these tracks, but I'll bet they're swell...Hail, hail, rock and roll!
Nice to have you back! I will steal your resolutions all but the house and Spike Jones.
Mixing it up in classic lally big beat style. This is a better world for having a group called
"Sir Bald Diddley and his Wig-outs".

sorry to hear about the loss due to computer issues. i'll be heading back south off of this island this fall, and will have to figure out where my boxes of vinyl disappeared to during my move up ...
