Comment:
actually more heartbreak than break up, but i guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. fueled by a heroic intake of coffee/lack of sleep over the course of a number of weeks. tracing the basic plot of girl and boy fall in love/boy breaks girl's heart. comes with 3 pages worth of explanations for the inclusion of each song that i banged out on my typewriter [quite therapeutic, might i add]. i wish i could include all those references here, but i don't think i'm up for that much typing again. good grief. eventually, perhaps. anyway, this whole project is being sent to the always lovely jordan, who was clever enough to come up with the idea of putting frustration to use and trading tapes chronicling broken hearts. it turned out to be a splendid idea.Feedback:
wow...
The Pedro the Lion song has been standard on all my heartbreak tapes. With this song I can feel what you are going through. Hang in there!
Title! Great looking tape too; you Americans always have loads of stuff I've never heard of. Any tape starting with Low has to be good. Did anyone else notice they used 'In Metal' on Dawson's Creek recently? It was ace.
you rule, erika :)
aye. erika. this is devastatingly heartbreaking - though devastatingly *great* at the same. for better or worse, you have topped yrself.
any mix with geoff farina in three formats ((tss, karate, solo)) is most excellent by my standards.
aww erika...this is such a beautifully sad tape..."some sinatra" is always on my broken heart soundtracks...
i have listened to this tape at least twice now and it is magnificent...sad and beautiful...
This sounds heartbreaking and beautiful. I can't wait for my copy. :-)
i just wanted to say that even 4 years later this is my favorite mix. thank you very much
5 Stars. That is all I feel is right to say.
