That's a great title. I love everything that I know here--which is actually almost everything for once--and the rest looks great in theory. :-) I'm downloading this one right now.
Once again, I second Mr. Conroy ;-)
This looks really great, I'm downloading it as we speak. Wonderful mix.
that closer is devestatingly wonderful - lots of really cool tunes here
Lots to like here. Just last night I told a bunch of guys at a party that the Besnard Lakes album was my favorite for 2007.
Is this the same Mahogany that did the cd "Connectivity"? Just curious...nice playlist!
And, this I know quite a bit. Dig that choice by the National. I enjoyed that album more than I thought I would. Other fine choices: Mahogany, Nico and Besnard Lakes - all caught my eye.
I really enjoyed this one. Love the opener and track 8.
Nice and moody on the innocent side.
Really cool. The closing pairing is perfect.
great set, curtis. and Happy New Year, by the way. lots of this is new to me. really dig the opening pair [I've heard several great versions of "Suzanne" in the past few weeks], The Besnard Lakes, Mahogany, Faun Fables and Nico.
This one almost slipped off my radar Curtis, am I pleased it didn't! Lotsa tasty treats here mon ami.
I'm looking forward to the links - lots of favorites here...!
I downloaded this back in January and just tonight really sat down to listen. Wow! Really fantastic mix! Totally absorbing and beautifully choreographed song placement. I see from your profile--and I may have already commented on the WFMU mention. I lived in north Jersey until I was about 34 completely under their influence. Bud Styple, Irwin Chusid, Glen Jones, Bill Kelly, Frank O'Toole, Irene...Many, many happy, stimulated hours with the radio. This mix would have fit in with the best of WFMU....Great work!!
