Comment:

Happy New Year, y'all. This is a bonafide Jonpoi release. Marriage has sent me into banging one of
these out about once a year. But
that leaves a lot of room for tarting it up. I wanted to do this with what I thought were the best
tracks of the year but there just wasn't that much that got me off this year. And trust me, I listened
to a lot according to the critics. But I just don't think it's there. Ohh, that Rilo Kiley had something
going for it but we just couldn't fit Fleetwood Mac into the mix. No, wait a second, I meant to
say that I am just getting old. That said, I think more than half of this is quite tasty. I know
I must be missing out on something really good, but with the independents gaining ground on
the New Distribution, the publicity of the stuff bubbling up is taking on a schedule
of eighteen months as opposed to twelve. This is available in 96kbps WMA and 160kbps MP3 formats via
YouSendIt. Just click on the links provided for the download. If Divshare gets it's act together, I will
shift the files over there for a permanent storage solution. As always, I like seeing your names. Cheers. LATE COMMENT EDIT: Thanks guys, but let me clear up something. I have been married for over four years now. I think I made the same comment before and was congratulated on the marriage. We appreciate it But Really it ain't nothing new. My wife just isn't that big of a music fan.

it's always great to see you posting again, & this makes evident that you haven't lost a step in all that marriage mumbo-jumbo (congratulations, by the way) - the amy winehouse closer & robert wyatt tracks are my favorites

Lookin' good, jon. Happy new year to you, as well. I particularly love the Robert Wyatt (my album of 2007) track and the Amy Winehouse track (one of my favorite albums of 2006).

Very nicely done. I mean to put up my best of '07. Should be readied by, oh say, March...at the rate I'm going.

4 years and you haven't brainwashed her with stuff like this sufficiently to have her sleep with headphones on? Shame on you. Thanks for the link, always a pleasure Jon.

I was hoping I'd hear that MIA tune on a mix soon. Fuckin' great man, and you were the ideal mixer to use it.

Always good to see an old friend on the site! Some good stuff you've compiled from last year. I didn't know B.A.D. were still at it. And add my name to the list of people congratulating you on four years of marriage. You must be doing something right.

Great to see a Jonpoi creation once again! I'll have to disagree with you in that I thought it was a stellar year (not going to be able to get my Best of down to 1 disc I don't think.) Kudos

I haven't listen to the mix yet, but I like the cover art a lot. You have a unique style, and there's always a lot to discover in your collages.
