Comment:

A mix of pieces for solo piano. It includes several selections by (what are tactfully known in the classical world as) "living composers." The title is from track 19.

Run time 64m48s. In case that is more classical music than you were looking for, could I interest you in a 10 minute sampler?

To hell with 10 minutes. I ain't snacking, I want the full meal. I'm greedy like that, especially when I know so little. Great to see your name here again Ed.

What is it with classical and aircraft today? Don't know hardly anyone or anything, but looks most intriguing.

I'm with Barry, looking to get ahold of that Stravinsky, Barber, Chopin, Wagner & Perle, among others.

Classical?
Classical? Who...uhm, posts classical nowadays?? And 64 some odd minutes no less...gee-whiz, Ed, what were you smokin'?
Actually, it looks wonderful and I'd be man enough to take in every last kilo-bit of it in a single sitting, via headphones.

(and good t'see output from another East Coast mix(x)er)

I'm good for a hour dose too. Unless the 10 minutes is the full 64 compressed into a high-calorie meal.

They say always leave 'em wanting more, but this here's just sadism. Put us out of our misery?

Me,I'm not really into classical,I like a good tune ;)
I wish I'd taken piano lessons but during the siege of Stalingrad they seemed a little superfluous but now I'm chewing my nails in frustration because had I listened to my piano teacher I'd be familiar with a few of these.

I'd like the whole enchilada to go, please. What I know (which is little) I love and what I don't, I want to. Welcome back and happy new year.

mmmm, my limited tastes in classical to run to the Dead, but on the other hand I'm partial to living pianists, so maybe I could try stretching my ears around this. I will definitely check out the sample . . .

Glad to see you back on the boards, Ed. Looks like I'm not the only person that wants more than just a slice of the pie...

ahhh, the keys to happiness--all 88 of them! don't normally think I like Philip Glass, but that one got my attention (in a good way); also liked the Leo Ornstein (he died at age 109!?), Edvard Grieg, Felix Mendelssohn (I can actually play that one, but only as a love ballad), Chopin's Rev. Etude is an old favorite... but the best new discovery for me here is that interesting and exciting William Albright number. Ragtime piano is due a comeback at AotM, if you ask me. thanks for sharing this!

This looks great, Ed, and certainly not like more classical music than I was looking for (though maybe a bit more Wagner than I was looking for).
It reminds me of a conversation I overheard on the bus a couple of weeks ago:

guy, after mentioning some Beethoven piece: I like to listen to classical music quite a bit, actually.
Girl: Oh yes, me too! Although I don't have any. Could you burn me some, maybe? [just as I was pondering how someone could claim to like listening to classical music but have EXACTLY NONE to listen to and how ridiculously vague the notion of liking "classical music" per se, as well as how funny the request to receive any classical music whatsoever, was:] But make it some cool orchestral stuff, please, that piano stuff doesn't do anything to me.
I was heartbroken. The worst part was that the rest of the conversation revealed that they were both conservatory students (studying jazz drumming and jazz singing, respectively). But then my spirit was lifted again when I spent the next days at a workshop full of natural science/informatics people (who all worked with sound in one capacity or another) and they all seemed to know their music theory and history better than I did.
