Feedback:
another good one, derek, i especially love the closing two songs...
I'll drink to this !
Very nice.
Salut!
I look at the artists and I know them and then I look at the songs and I don't know them. I love that, keeps me on my toes.
The final six are just stellar.
a tom song, a song tom wrote but never released, and a song tom covered. i think you are trying to see if i'm paying attention.
Derek, I put this mix to the "writing test", seeing if it caught my attention while I was writing. And it did, for short but not sustained bursts. From Albert King through Elvis I was riveted, but lost the flow at the Holly; it would have been stronger skipping that one, I think. The Marcovich sticks out as my best tune on here. Then I lost interest until the Zevon-Waits. Burroughs? No thanks. And I like Burroughs! Just not aloud.
Tremendous! Burroughs, Lenny Bruce, and ALbert King! Whew! Yeah, man, I'd like to work out a trade.
13 to closedown is touched by greatness my friend.
Awesome. 2,6,16 & 17 deserve big Sammy Shout Outs. Love this..
Good effort -- and I'm amused with the image. I don't recall ever seeing an R. Crumb chick before.
Wow! This looks really cool, good sir. Sorry I didn't comment earlier--I thought I *had* commented...
I really love this one, and I & I is a cool way to start a mix.
