This life'll kill me yet. I was away for awhile but now I'm back. I hope everybody had great and joyous holidays. I know I missed alot of really good mixes in the last few weeks. I'll have to start digging back in the AotM archives.Feedback:
bet you were out painting the town red. or maybe some groovier color, like "rust." Jonah Jones is the only one I've got a handle on here, but that's a pretty good place to grab hold. isn't the "I Dig Chicks" LP cover tops? and speaking of tops.... yowzza! looking forward to your swingin' mixes of 2008 - Happy New Year, Skipper.
Looks like a tough job, Skipper...
...but somebody's gotta' do it!(and a very pert & pretty offering, here, ;-])

That picture sums up my life before Kathryn. Hard times they were. This looks like a rather splendid offering, particularly love the France Gall track.
i dig chicks too!
good to see you back.
good to see you back.
Interesing timing since I was just watching exerpts from the Friar's Club Roast of Hefner on Youtube this weekend. Looks groovaliscious.
As a kid *reading* my dad's Playboys, I always thought Hef was cooler than cool. I hate to think he has ruined his legacy with his current venture. But this mix helps remind us of a hepper time, Playboy Jazz Festival & all. Play Misty For Me?
The Soundtrack to my life! I wish. Much greatness a-pleanty here Skip..
loved the "Ah!" and "Bossa Nova In Broadway" pair [I'm a sucker for the whistlin' tunes] along with France Gall, Jumping Jacques [great name], Som Tres, Boyce & Hart and Christy tunes. thanks!
