My Spanish is so poor, despite having a Spanish friend, does that mean playing the accordion prevents one from getting herpes? Or even beautiful girls with accordions have herpes? Wish I was multilingual, Kathryn does at least speak fluent French, also wish I knew more on this mix.

I don't buy the menos cerebral line, you got Mecke Messer at line 2 and Jane's couteau at line 14, no way that can be an accident. Devilish work. As line 16 notes, it was over too soon. ;-)
Ah accordian music = a Frenchman's delight. I only know the Stones track?
At 16 songs, this is like an EP for you. Less expansive, but no less potent.
Lots of fine stuff here, particularly the Waits and Zevon tracks.
I love mixes that highlight and are unified by a common instrument. This one looks very interesting, although I don't know a lot of the songs.
