Comment:

i reached a point where i realized it was all for him, no matter what it was. or what it seemed to be. but sometimes you're just lonely - maybe not lonely for a particular person, but just isolated in general.

Really like the Wilburys and REM tracks, and great Heatmiser pick too...

I love that Heatmiser song. It may be one of my favorite Elliott Smith tunes ever. And the REM...that's one of those standbys. Thanks Funky Ratchet. :-)

Like the (aforementioned) R.E.M., Squeeze, and Belly tracks, and the Radiohead song is my current favorite from In Rainbows.

always love your mixes, they hang together quite beautifully, really melancholic & bittersweet - the elliott smith, amy winehouse, pj harvey, radiohead, squeeze, neko case, REM & jeff buckley are my favorites

but you ARE superwoman! I submit this mix as evidence: Belly, M. Ward, P.J. Harvey, Neko Case, REM... sorry to read your year has been a blue one so far. in my relationship I've recently learned that it really helps to keep in touch with yourself, doing things that you enjoy--either alone or with other friends--but without the "significant other" sometimes. don't know if that's what you're even talking about here, but thought I'd throw it in anyway. hope the sun comes out again soon.
