Comment:
"...We're together in a room,/it's an evening in October,/
no one is writing our history./
Whoever holds us here in the midst of a Law,/
I hear him now/
I hear him breathing/
as he embroiders gorgeously our simple chains."
-- Leonard Cohen, 'You Live Like A God' -- this mix is for midwinter and the concomitant introspection.
Feedback:
capital! and Philip Glass is always a welcome presence.
Hard to find better artists than these for a good bout of introspection. I like the inclusion of Planxty too. Nothing like Irish folk to put things in perspective
Really like your Iron & Wine and Sonic Youth picks.
I like the Sonic Youth, Philip Glass, Billie Holiday, Beirut and Joanna Newsome you've put on here. welcome to the site!
i'd say you have pretty great taste in sounds!
