77:02More digital bumps and techno beats...for surviving the hyper-speed of future civilizations and, uhm...winter Nordic Track sessions : ).
A hale & hearty "shout out" to the all-knowing valis, who, after learning that I had misplaced my Earthling CD, pointed me in the direction of a "magic" online d/l of this mixes' final track.

....and just in time to crank up the training for this year's races.
really interested in absorbing this...
Will definitely give this a listen. Didn't Charlie Watts play drums for one of those 60s bands? What ever happened to those guys?
I was thinking the same thing, that track 7 looks percussion-heavy, but intriguing.
Ed/Derek...
Watts & Keltner put out a Techno-Drumming album in 2000 simply entitled Charlie Watts Jim Keltner Project. Each song was a tribute to a different Jazz drummer, but with a techno edge. Mick Jagger (that 60's band guy with the huge lips) "sings" on one of the track...well actually he chants & rambles, but the vocals are obscured underneath a bed of ambient washed sounds. A decent listen & nothing to write home about, but it'll keep your ass moving, (aerobically speaking).

Lovely collection of sound. Can't wait to do some heavy listening. Your hard work on these compilations is so very much appreciated...
good to see some cranes on their, not heard them for ages
this one's a little bit meatier, relatively speaking. as usual, liked it a lot--with hot spots at Future Sound of London, Kraftwerk, Cranes and the Bowie track, which was much more lively than I was expecting.
