Comment:

Ok...I know what you're thinking...why is this mix mostly made up of soundtracks and Fraggle Rock songs? This mix was made for my dad to celebrate his birthday earlier this month. His favorite styles of music typically include piano melodies, folk songs, ballads, and soundtrack scores.
Fraggle Rock was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid and I remember loving the music, but not specific songs. I bought the 3 CD Fraggle Rock Collection box set and I was amazed by how many genres were represented throughout the show. I gave the mix to my dad without a cover and when I pointed out which songs were from Fraggle Rock, he couldn't believe it! Most of them are so beautiful, unique and poignant, that one would never guess they came from a kids TV show. For example, The track, "Music Box" is a beautiful instrumental that would add something special to any mix.

This looks delightfully odd. Any chance there'll be a download?

Definitely gotta check out some "Fraggle Rock" compositions now. The theme is already great, although I don't suppose it has much to do with the deep cuts you've used here. Props on the highly creative mix. This is an unsung ('round AOTM, and in general life) genre/type of music, that which is composed for film or television, not counting main themes or pop anthems or anything like that. Like the actual mood pieces crafted by composers. I myself should spend more time celebrating their terrific work. Anyway, nice use of Eels, "Enchanted", and the delightful songs from "Music and Lyrics" as well

Didn't Paul Williams write many of the Fraggles songs? This does indeed look delightfully odd. I'd love to hear this, so if you'd like to trade again that'd be great. Loved your last mixes..

This looks great, the Fraggles rocked, which was the one Gobo sang in the first episode? It was Dylanesque. I have to show doowadette this one.I have used a little fraggleness myself.
