...eh, I guess that's kind of a misnomer. I don't really have "encyclopedic knowledge" of Pavement. But I put this together for my dad, who's agreed to go see Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks with me without ever having heard of them. Oh, and he's big on Bob Dylan, so he really likes #17.
I originally got the idea for this mix from a dream I had the other morning. I was sitting on top of a semi trailer chatting it up with SM...a very nice dream indeed!
The absence of anything off Brighten The Corners and Face The Truth kinda bugs me, and I don't own any other Silver Jews albums besides Tanglewood Numbers, so that's why it's kinda skimpy in those areas. Oh well, such is the financial predicament of plenty college students!
[EDIT] Now that I think about it, this mix sure is lacking in some spots. Bleh.
