A new Orchid mix! I live for new Orchid mixes!!! (Okay, those and several other things, including other mixes...) At any rate, this looks great and I even recognize quite a few. Is a link already available?
Wow, this looks really, really cool. Very little that I actually know, but from what I do, I sense a very cool vibe. Can't wait to download!
wow really?! i only know two artists on here. help me out; what kind of mix is this?
can't wait for the link - dunno much here, but i'm extremely anxious to dig in
Only been back round these parts for a week or so and, oh joy! just in time for a new orchid mix.
Familiar with quite a few of the names here but not the songs.
Can't wait for the download & am particularly intrigued by the Hackamore Brick -"Got A Gal Named Wilma" is the only thing I know from them & I'd like to hear more.

Very nice, especially the Blossom Dearie, Ramsey Lewis and Dusty.
This does look like it would be a very nice listen.
Atrud, Big Maybelle, Eartha, Ramsey, Dusty.... yeah, I'm on board.
these mix look incredible, Orchid. I am hardly wait for the link so they will hear them!
I "heart" this mix! I already know that I love the Blossom Dearie, Astrud covering Chicago, the kid funk and Dusty. Can you link a brother up?
tornadoZ does bad England I thunk. I think he needs a (daily) dose of this, and within the week I reckon he'll be reciting poetry. Hey, I quite fancy hearing it too. Magical indeed.
...and the ruffin sing.
All time favorites here. Very Nice.
Yes indeed, a new Orchid mix is always a joy. Looks wonderful but I'm sure its beauty is more than visual :)
Well, I'm not commenting until a link has been provided. So, there. I mean, I downloaded one of your previous mixes 1073 times just to ensure optimum freshness! ; )(Btw, this looks fanastic, as always)
Lots of great stuff on this mix, can't wait to give it a "spin"!
Curious that the day this got downloaded I bought an orchid for valentine. Nevertheless if loving her is wrong, I want to be right.
As a newcomer this is my first of your mixes but given the heaping praise from the multitudes, I eagerly anticipate the listening experience.

Yaaay! A new Orchid mix is always cause for celebration. I had to track this down after Rob mentioned it in his motw comments. This looks marvelous and very much like the Orchid mixes that I know and love. Can't wait to check this out.
I put this on at home while doing chores today. Orchid, let me just say right up front that the one single thing I like most about your mixes is that they're so good. now, I've heard Blossom Dearie and Astrud Gilberto quite a bit in the past, but I've never heard either of them like this before. I need to go out and hunt those albums down! that "Love Is Wet" opener is totally slick and really gets things moving. the Jason Forrest song could be my most favorite of all here, and I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging when I mention that I have that "Where Is My Man" single as a big 12"-er, if you know what I mean. you know, I've seen Ms. Earrrrtha Kitt perform live three times in the past ten years or so, and she's never once performed that song! she better hurry and find him, she's pushing 80! other favorites on this magnificent collection include Ted Lucas, Penny & the Quarters, The Corsairs, Mike Cooper, John Forde, Dusty Springfield (you've chosen the perfect closing track, as always), Brides of Funkenstein, Nostalgia 77 and Gloria Loring. hearing this was like relaxing on a sunny porch in Minneapolis with a cool glass of lemonade after living on a space station for three-and-a-half years. I know it sounds like I'm over-doing it with the praise, but I don't care. in fact, Jimmy crack corn and I don't care!!
Very beautiful mix. I gave it a listen on the weekend and was completely blown away by it. Will have to look into plenty of artists featured in it.
Ah, Astrud Eartha Kitt, very nice.
