There was a time back in the eighties when I was quite into Cave.Maybe it's time to rediscover him.
nick cave is one of those artists who i would really, really like to love, but i just cannot get into him. i don't dislike him - i quite like the boatman's call - but i can only take him in small doses. i'd be really interested in giving this a spin to see your take on him...
I absolutely adore Nick, as well as the Birthday Party and Grinderman. Great work here. Even though, as you said, lots of classics are not here, this obviously has a personal stamp on it that's undeniable.
I really dig Nick Cave and virtually none of my favorites appear here, which just means I need to dig a little deeper by giving this a listen.
