Talkin To Tanya
Comment:
My 3rd AOTM effort, think I'm getting better, though not an awful lot of thought gone in here, more of a controlled random shuffle. The last song, however, is for my soulbrother and musical mentor, Barrydali. He'll know why.Feedback:
A belated welcome to AotM from me, then. And cheers for the DL, something tells me I need to hear that Alice Donut track. Didg the Maps and the glam-tastic Furries choice. And the Micah P, and the Devo and the....
This is classy Mark. Sam does need to hear that Alice Donut song but your cloing 4 are special. Love it.
Pretty nice stuff. A belated welcome!!
A lot of Americana references in here, like chupacabras and Winn-Dixie, where you be from anyway? Ha, ha, enjoy the site, you have the best mentor going.
After listening I feel compelled to say "you are good at this"! I hope you continue.
Oh and am I wrong getting the Bananarama joke?
Well spotted bro!
Welcome to the site and keep the mixes coming.
The Wallflowers, Zep, SFA, Gnarls and Pogues picks stand out for me.
Great SFA pick, love that S-Express track, and woa! Carter and F&Ws! That is taking me back a bit...
Really good stuff here. I'm particularly partial to the Radiohead and Gnarls Barkley.
I'd forgotten how much I like Devo! also loved that Go! Team number even before hearing it again here, The Pogues present the perfect wrap-up, I'm going to have to look into this Micah P. Hinson since it was one of my favorites here, as well as on Barrydali's "BOO" mix (and if you're wondering what took me so long to comment on your mix, please see same "BOO" mix, where everything has been fully explained), but my favorite bit was 14/15/16, especially the And So I Watch You From Afar song. very nice, and thanks for sharing it.
good stuff . . . I'll always chuckle at that Led Zep pick plus I do like the Beastie Boys choice . . .
