Of Heartache And Woe
Comment:
Prompted by an article in a recent issue of Mojo magazine. No real surprise to find that the genre I tried to stick with yielded such a deep wellspring of material related to the theme. My first attempt at crossfading, so please excuse the odd clumsy transition.

Feedback:
Great choices. Some real classics here. You can't go wrong with any of your roster. And no need to apologise for the editing. Didn't even notice anything wrong. Thanks for the link.
I read the same article in Mojo and got a lot of these tracks because of it. Really digging 4, 5, 6, 17, 18 and 24. Great mix.
i'm digging 1,8,17-19, and especially 22.
Especially like Garnet Mims and Jackie Wilson. There's always an ear for heartache and woe.
So so so good.
This looks wonderful.
You had me with the Chuck Jackson and Solomon Burke. Gutbucket-worthy love.
listening now . . . and really enjoying it . . . I had only ever heard the Whitesnake version of 'aint no love. . . ' and had assumed that it was their own composition . . . how wrong could I be ! Anyway, enjoying this.
