The eye on nostalgia never loses focus. How strong are the ties to memories we wish we could forget? There are songs we become attached to before we are aware of their badness. These songs remind me of working part time at the five and dime. Looking back I see clearly what was cloudy. Nostalgia is the realization of self through context.
