Comment:
This one is for the old timey gals.I never want to have the blues again.
Feedback:
Love the Odetta track. I can never fit it into a mix. You on the other hand had no problem....
These are some of my favorite sisters!
Can't beat kicking off with Alameda Riddle, & winding up with Odetta, Bonnie & a good night from (any old time) is a sweet goodbye; looks like it swings from beginning to end.

This looks great in a very specifically tailored kind of way. I tip my (ten-gallon) hat to you & the girls to whom you're saluting.
You just make the BEST mixes. I'd love to see your music library. It's gotta be close to heaven on earth for a music collector.
Yep, they sure don't make em like them used to. Fantastic...would love to hear this.
another interesting one from texas hobart. even more than usual to explore here. thanks!
I guess that is bound to happen every once in a while--that someone posts a mix that is very similar to a mix someone else is working on. This time it's happening to me: I've been working on a mix very similar to this one, so similar that it not only has a similar mood but also includes two of the same tracks (6 and 8). Not sure yet what I'm going to do with my mix now; maybe I need to rework it a bit. Or maybe there can never be too much of this good old-timey music here at AotM.
Obviously, I really like this mix. I've seen the Chocolate Drops in concert last year, and they are a infectious band on stage.

You should make your mix and maybe we could do a trade.Good music to share.
Cool mix. Very solid work, Tex.
This could use a little "Iko-Iko" but it stands nicely on its own.
wow...just wow...i would love a copy of this...
Long time love affairs with Giilian and Odetta and was just recently turned on to Crooked Still. Nicely done.
This looks wonderful.
Perfect, as usual.
