Comment:
For this mix, I tried to go for something a bit kitsch. A bit kooky and very groovy. You know, the kind of mix that girls who secretly ( or indeed openly ) wish they were Audrey Hepburn would love..My kind of girls really. And what has resulted is very much my kind of mix.
Enjoy!

Feedback:
Very much my kind of mix too Sam. Illustrious!
Well, here I am, commenting on a mix...finally! :) And I'm glad it's such a good one. This is really unique with highly tasty choices and, even though I don't know everything on here, I can very much feel the vibe of the whole thing. Love the Would be Goods sneaking themselves in there.
Oh this looks absolutely lovely, Sam. I can't wait to give her a listen. I'll be sure to put on a pair of false eyelashs and a Mary Quant miniskirt to appreciate it in the proper style.
The King Of Pop strikes again, bringing his groupies along. And Chic this is with 11 & 12 my faves.
Looking forward to playing this. Very cool, indeed.
Groovy!
Man, this is fucking sexxxy! My type of girls too!
This is such good day off music. Thanks Sammy!
What a way to kick off the week! This looks fantastic!
wow. Where did you find a song about Psychedelic Sally? Has someone been talking about me?
I'm no girl & I've never seen the appeal of Audrey Hepburn but, yup, I think I could love this!
So fine!
Kitschy, yes, but quite cool, as one can only expect from you when you nod in this direction (or, in the latter "cool" case, make a mix).
Gorgeous picture of Ava. Amazing what they can do with age-progression photography nowadays.
Don't know how I missed "Zoo Be Zoo Be Zoo" and "Oink, Oink Mambo" but I do remember Nancy S's version of "Ces Bottes Sont Faites Pour Marcher." Very stylish mix, Sam.

So I was heading out on a drive and needed mixes, thus I wanted two for the road. Putting in her two cents worth, my fair lady, offered some love in the afternoon. Sadly, I asked her to wait until dark and walked out the door with this mix in hand.
la la la da da da! & as Gloria says, "oh honey please don't stop"
a new sammy mix - just what i need after a long, hard day at work - thanks a bunch!
Looks like you've outdone yourself once again. What I know, I love (Lulu, Magic Whispers, Komeda Etienne, Would Be Goods), and what I don't know, I'll learn to love. Is that Twiggy on the cover? I sometimes secretly wish I was her.
mmmm...Quirkirrific! I Especially love the Sophia Loren track. Can't wait to hear it all!
This mix has 'keeper' written all over it. Thanks for sharing it sammy.
Ah Twiggy, I blame her for all this size zero nonsense. Your mix is a kind of size 14, shapely and sexy-curvey. Especially voluptuous are Harry Roche,Lulu,Would Be Goods and the Magic Whispers. Lots of French flounce too. Very deserving of a hearty wolf whistle.
A glorious and frankly mind boggling collection. How do you do it Sam?
just what they all said . . . I'll download now . . .
Luscious! You cheeky monkey.
Nice one. Very cute too.
What a great mix; so much fun!
Ladies & gentlemen...
...another, fabulous, sammyg mixological wonder!

thanks for the download link . . . have listened repeatedly now and loved it (actually, it goes really well with ;playboy living' that Skipper put together a few weeks ago . . . another 'keeper' !
yummy
always up for groovy kitsch, Sam, and this is one of my favorites of yours. though I think I say that pretty often. tons of favorites, like the opening pair, Komeda, Living Brass, the "SOS Z2" + "Koo-Kee" pair, the Miniflex closer and the entire bit from Marden Hill to Lulu was just perfect. [why don't I have that Saint Etienne CD yet?] and the Pilzer track didn't quite reach me in time, but it made for a wonderful after-lunch bonus track! muy bien, amigo.
Squeeze 'em. Squeeze 'em. I'm picturing being on a very long beach with very white sand and some oversized sunglasses while listening to this. Boink Boink.
had this on again today . . . essential listening avec martini ! Just thought that you should know !!
Sophia Loren, Josephine Baker and Young Rascals. Very nice, Sam.
