Comment:

Part 1 of 4 for a 5 hour drive south.

This is a tribute to those songs. The ones you can't help but sing, whistle, tap, stomp, dance along to. The main reason for picking up your medium of choice and pressing play. The songs that provide a home for the like of Chelsea Dagger whose chorus, if sung in a different style, would fall flat on its face

Title lifted from a Belle & Sebastian song.

"B&W Town" makes me yearn for a drum kit and the talent and knowledge to be able to play it, if only for just that one song. You know those poser jerks that buy a brand new guitar to impress chicks, learn how to play "Stairway to Heaven" and "Smoke on the Water" then give up? That'd be me, but with the drums. Doves "B&W Town", ACDC's "If You Want Blood", The Dresden Doll's "Kaledrina" and Fall Out Boy's "Dead on Arrival" would be the only songs I ever learn to play ... to impress boys only, of course.
