Comment:
Well it all began sometime in 2004 when I heard A Perfect Kiss' "A Memory Less Traveled" which featured a bridge of "la la la la la, etc." Ever since then I was hooked, I loved "la" songs. A Memory Less Traveled was the first song to be added to the playlist, when it was exclusively La's. As I grew up and my music tastes developed I noticed there was a whole world to La's, and that world extended to Ba's, Da's and Na's.I have been working on this playlist for a very, very long time. Only two songs from the first playlist survived, The Doors and Echo and the Bunnymen. I realize that I violate a huge playlist rule, I repeat artists. However, The Frames intro should hardly count, and it sets the scene perfectly. As for Damien Rice, I need an incentive for people to listen, and what better incentive than b-sides? My Thursday b-side is not enough of a draw so I threw in a 9 b-side as well. And yes, at the end is a Nick Andopolis song. For those of you unaware Nick Andopolis is Jason Segal's character in Freaks and Geeks, and that is the song he wrote for Lindsay (Cardellini). Haha.

Feedback:
Expresssing what words cannot is what most of us do around here. I like your concept and the Memory Less Traveled as well.
ya ya! just wonderful. sometimes dada says it all.
Your theme is really fun. Sloan's Deeper Than Beauty gets my vote for one of the best uses of la in a song, ever.
Cool! La La La has always been one of my favorite lyrics, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one.
Great concept and well-selected tracks. Lily Allen & Counting Crows are always of interest.
