This was a CD I had to make for a coworker who was leaving. Had just listen to NPR on Love Day and they were talking about the art of the mix tape. Got me inspired. His situation is he is leaving a newspaper in New York for a new job in Florida. And about to get married... The Horace Silver selection was stroke of genius. He said he recognized it from NPR news and the lyrics on Tokyo Police Club's song worked better than I hoped.
