Comment:

The war began five years ago this month. I've been hanging around here for five years this week. My first postings were anti-war mixes back in 2003. I thought it was time for more and to do some updating.

Those mixes were my most popular mixes to trade so I'll be posting some new downloaded versions in the coming days.

This is the first volume in a series called NOT IN MY NAME... many more to come.

thank you so much for this - it's sad that such statements need to be made, but thank you for helping to make them - there has got to be a better way! darrylseattle

Excellent mix and great choices. I'm pretty sure we'll have many more years of Occupying mixes, tragically.

it doesn't matter what name you use george, your mixes are consistanty strong. Sam Stone, Day After Tomorrow. and Girl in the War are the best of this fine mix. Thanks!

Massive props for using that Christy song as well as the bunch Tom singled out. The Ward and Wyatt picks are so good too. I'll be listening in full George.

Still right on target.
Let's hope you don't have to make a 10th-anniversary edition . . .

What I've heard on here I love. And that Travis song looks like it might be a new favorite. Will be sure to download once I get home...This whole thing looks great!<3 Sara

Another cool addition to your anti-war themed mixes. I particularly like the Cat Power inclusion on this one.

I'm assuming Culture Clubs 'The War Song' will feature on a latter volume.. Just jesting; this is a great mix. 2,7,8 & 15 being my top choices..
