Feedback:
Rawk! Like the Cult, Johnny Cougar, and AC/DC. And the Honeymoon Suite...had forgotten about them!
The Runaways and AC/DC tracks are faves
Haven't heard Aldo Nova in many a moon. Seem to remember them as being on Elektra. Haven't got to that cut yet but what I've heard so far is very nice.
man, that ac/dc track really brings back some memories - any mix that can do that is a-okay with me
So, tell me, who are this band going under the 'Gangsters Of Love' name? Oh, yes, I remember. Love that Kinks-Aldo Nova run. Hate that Scorpions-Foreigner run...
We have a time slot for you on classic rock FM. Did Def Leppard do a cover of the Stones' Rocks Off, or is that a different song?
What Luke79 said, finger for finger.
Is this the real tornadoZ? Can you show me any identification? No, the Def Leppard fan club card doesn't count. Looks like something our friend Darth P. might have conjured up -- and I mean that as a compliment. Rock on, Darth. And you too, tornadoZ -- if indeed this is really you.
Sorry, my friend, but I can't really get behind much of this. I'm trying, but it's not happening. :-) The best I can say is that I dig the Comets on Fire track wholeheartedly and that the Stevie, Runaways, Cult and ELO tracks are guilty pleasures.
Yeah, lots of cheese here Alex, but that's cool. I can dig it in a ironic sort of way... I hope you're not offended ;). Liked the Comets On Fire to ELO bit though. It was brilliant really.
This kicks ass mate. Aldo Nova! Theres a name I haven't heard in a long while.
Diggin' Stevie Nicks, Leppard, The Cult, Aldo Nova...and that title too!5ive Stars heading your way!!!
This make me chuckle.
I love the Stevie Nicks and The Cult songs...And there are a few punk bands in California that sing about pirate stuff...I just call it pirate punk...It makes sense to me...Listen to the band and give me your thoughts, they are on myspace.
You are always such a breath of fresh air on this site! And Skipper is exactly right: this kicks ass. PERIOD. The opener is PURE HEAVEN and if Rob doesn't like it he should... well I don't know what he should do. But regarding Mixxer's comment -- do they really play Peter Grudzien on classic rock radio? I think not. I love that song (and the whole crazy album). This mix will live in my car's tape player until the end of the summer.
I can't beat Luke79's comment. Actions louder, etc
