My old pal, Rod, made this for his annual birthday bash in 2005. A few months later, Hurricane Katrina tore up New Orleans and our group of friends, the Ratpack, pretty much dispersed. Over the past couple of years, our group has gone through job changes, divorce, unemployment, and other woes because of Katrina. This CD marks the last time things were "normal". Rod still lives in The Big Easy in his house in the Irish Channel district, having evacuated before the storm and luckily retaining his massive music library. Rock on, Rod!
