Comment:

Well, I gave up the Art of the Mix during Lent, inspired by my wife and daughter giving up their own computer vices.Nevertheless, I did not give up on practicing the art of the mix and this particular mix has been pieced together little by little since Ash Wednesday. In any case, the experience or the concept of it all was basically the inspiration, with a few thoughts of my mujer and snippets of sequences that flowed through my brain in the interim and seemed to fit the theme, whatever it may be.

Hahaha! I can't belive you lasted so long! It reminds me of the dream i had last night where you deleted this mix because you didn't like it and started from scratch. Good thing that didn't happen! ;-) Anyways, thank you for formating my junk monk and salt mix into word! GREAT MIX! especially, BJORK!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

Ahh... NOW I understand the "personal reasons" that drew you away from here. As a former lapsed Catholic (who has since drifted to the border between agnositicism and atheism), I should have put two and two together. ;-) Cool mix and welcome back! :-)

I do this same thing every year; a lenten mix to get back to the spiritual a bit. Added this to the Thank God: Religious Mix exhibit. Nice mix of songs & love the cover.

Worried you'd been scared off by all the Darth Pazazu mixes. Love the Pixies and Belle & Sebastian tracks. If Jesus gives it the thumbs up well then who am I to question the son of God?

Giving up AotM for lent, made me chuckle, even if the motives behind it were serious, sorry. Welcome back, and what a terrific mix. Great Hold Staedy, Pogues and Belle & Seb picks..

How on earth did I miss this one when you posted it? The opening pair kicks all kinds of ass and the rest is a rich, sprawling follow-up. And, hey, there's the Tallest Man On Earth again! Really need to hear that whole disc sometime...
