Pense a moi
Comment:
I know I may be preaching to choir here, but, for those who don't know, France Gall was this 60's French pop princess, whose has in the last couple of years become something of cult figure amongst pop music/culture devotees.More about her here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France_Gall

Feedback:
She is wonderful, no question. I just posted a mix with 2 covers of her songs (your tracks 5 and 16). April March's cover of track 2 (Chick Habit) is pretty popular on this site.
Fabulous collection you have put together here. Apparently she is sixty-ish now and still does interviews.

love her. i like a lot of her German work too.
i have never heard of any of these songs, but it looks visually appealing.
Swoon. Her German stuff is fabulous. Hear Der Computer No.3, if you don't know it already, it's one of her best songs. I think her voice is more suited for the German language. Francois Hardy or France Gall? A friend and I debated this many years ago and we settled on Miss Gall.
Avoid the dreadful duet with Elton John in the 80's.
i'm always a sucker for french 60's pop - really anxious to check her out - congrats on MOTW by the way
Wow, I don't know what to say. Thank you for all the positive feedback y'all!
Wow...I'm waaaaayy out of my element here! :-( To be perfectly honest, the only song here that I know is April March's English-language cover of Chick Habit. (And that's only because I saw Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof - and got the soundtrack CD!)
Doesn't do much for my "cred" around here, does it? (Ha, ha, ha!)

I confess my ignorance, but I hope to rectify soon. Congrats on MOTW!
I am not really in favor of single artist mixes becoming MOTW, but I am rather francophillic, like Anthony, so she is right up my alley.
C'est Magnifique! Congrats on MOTW. Love 60s French Pop, and especially France Gall!
I know nothing about her, but would love to hear this. Is there any chance of a forthcoming link?
No links, but I'm willing to trade.
I love Hardy and could do with getting down with this. Congrats on motw!
Doowad-I chose this as MOTW because I got tired of nobody volunteering MOTW and because I actually know every song and love France Gall. It was the first time I chose the MOTW, it's not something I thought I'd ever do but nobody else was doing it so.........oh and thanks for that Youtube link, I really enjoyed that :).
Cool mix. Would love for a link though...

Congrats on Mix Of The Week, a fine choice. A great collection of tunes..
I'm working at (possibly) getting link up soon.
Thank you for asking for it.
Thank you for asking for it.
Whoa, great pick for MOTW... really well deserved. This is obviously well researched and compiled together. Congrats.
Congrats on MOTW. The Gall of the girl !! I must say that I knew very little about her until I saw this mix a couple of days ago and did some subsequent research (see it was worth me missing some school, I learnt something after all !)
OK, you asked for it, and here is the link:

This has been near the top of my shopping list for a long time, I doubt it existed until now. Thanks and congrats!
magnifique! I love France Gall and you for making this availiable. Congrats on MotW.
Sweet, absolutely, and congrats on the MOTW!
Congrats on the MOTW! I've been listening to a lot of Ye-Ye recently & la belle France has featured heavily
Well-deserved MOTW. Great stuff.
Congrats!!!
